How Nestwise came to be
Nestwise started as a small desk-based project in Bangkok's Huai Khwang neighbourhood. A handful of people — some Thai nationals, some long-term expats — kept arriving at the same impasse: a folder full of retirement letters, forms, and account statements that nobody had ever explained to them in plain English.
The founders had backgrounds in adult education and information management. They began offering informal sessions at a local community centre, helping people sort their documents and understand what each piece of correspondence actually meant. Word spread gradually, and by 2019 Nestwise was operating from its current premises on Rama IX Road.
Today, the team works with individuals approaching retirement, people already in retirement who want their records in better order, and family members helping an older relative manage their correspondence. The work is always informational — Nestwise does not hold any financial or legal licence, and nobody on the team gives regulated advice.
What the team does offer is time, patience, and a systematic approach to organising the paperwork most people find genuinely confusing.

Siriporn Chalermwat
Co-Founder & Lead Educator
Siriporn has fifteen years of adult education experience and developed Nestwise's core workshop curriculum. She leads most of the group sessions and one-to-one information walks.
James Howell
Co-Founder & Document Specialist
James spent a decade in records management before co-founding Nestwise. He designed the document organisation and correspondence tracking systems used across all services.
Natthaphon Promphan
Client Support & Scheduling
Natthaphon handles all initial enquiries, scheduling, and follow-up coordination. He is usually the first voice you hear when you contact the office.

Standards we hold ourselves to
Every session at Nestwise follows a consistent approach designed to keep things clear, comfortable, and professionally managed.
Information-Only Boundary
Every session is scoped to education and organisation. We remind participants when a question falls outside our scope and recommend appropriate professionals where relevant.
Confidential Handling
Documents brought to sessions are viewed and handled only by the attending team member. We do not photograph, copy, or retain any personal records.
Consistent Session Structure
Each engagement follows a defined intake, session, and summary format so clients know what to expect and can prepare accordingly.
Ongoing Staff Development
Team members regularly review publicly available retirement system updates so the information shared in sessions reflects current publicly-known frameworks.
Client Feedback Loop
After each completed service, clients are invited to share their experience. Feedback is reviewed monthly to refine session content and delivery.
Data Privacy Commitment
Personal data collected during enquiries and bookings is stored and handled in line with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA 2022).
Retirement document support in Bangkok for residents and expats
Bangkok hosts a substantial community of people who hold retirement records from more than one country — UK pension correspondence, Australian superannuation fund statements, German Rentenversicherung letters, Thai Social Security paperwork. Each document type comes with its own formatting, terminology, and reference numbering. Keeping them organised without a structured system is genuinely difficult.
Nestwise works across this range without specialism in any single national scheme. Our work is focused on the documents themselves: helping people understand what they are reading, where a piece of correspondence fits in the broader picture, and how to keep records in a state that makes future reference straightforward.
The Huai Khwang office is accessible by MRT at Rama 9 station, and sessions can also be held at a location convenient to the client where circumstances require it. All enquiries are handled with discretion, and there is no obligation attached to an initial conversation.
