Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit. They allow the site to remember certain information — like whether you have accepted the cookie notice — so it behaves consistently across your visits. Cookies do not give us access to your device and cannot read other files stored on it.

Cookies we use

Nestwise uses a small number of cookies, grouped into the following categories:

  • Essential cookies — necessary for the site to work properly. These cannot be switched off. They include the cookie that records your consent preferences.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, time on site, approximate location). Data is aggregated and does not identify individuals. These are only set if you consent.
  • Marketing cookies — used to understand how users arrive at our site through advertising. Only active with your consent.
  • Preference cookies — remember your settings between visits (e.g. language or region). Only set with your consent.

Third-party cookies

If analytics or marketing cookies are enabled, third-party services such as Google Analytics may set their own cookies. These services operate under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We do not share personal data with social media platforms through our cookies.

Cookie duration

  • Session cookies: deleted automatically when you close your browser
  • Persistent cookies: remain until their expiry date or until you delete them. Our consent preference cookie is stored for 12 months.

Managing Cookies in Your Browser

You can also manage cookies directly in your browser. Note that disabling all cookies may affect how some parts of this site work.

Google Chrome
Open Chrome → Click the three dots (⋮) → Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. From here you can block all cookies, allow only essential cookies, or delete existing cookies. You can also click the padlock icon in the address bar on any page to manage cookies for that specific site.
Mozilla Firefox
Open Firefox → Menu (≡) → Settings → Privacy & Security. Under "Enhanced Tracking Protection" you can choose your level of protection. To delete existing cookies, scroll to "Cookies and Site Data" and click "Clear Data". You can add specific exceptions for sites you trust.
Apple Safari
Open Safari → Preferences (or Settings on iOS) → Privacy. You can block all cookies or choose to block only cross-site tracking cookies. To delete cookies already stored, go to "Manage Website Data" and remove individual sites or all data at once.
Microsoft Edge
Open Edge → Settings (three dots ···) → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data. You can toggle "Block third-party cookies" and review or delete cookies stored by individual sites. Edge also has a Tracking Prevention section under Privacy, search, and services.

On mobile browsers, cookie settings are usually under the browser's main settings menu under "Privacy" or "Site settings". Steps vary by device and browser version.

Your Rights

You can withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time using the preference controls above. Declining optional cookies will not stop the site from working, but some features (such as analytics) will not be active.
